Nibble and Wag was born from a simple but powerful idea: every pet deserves a healthy, balanced meal and every family should be able to afford it.
When Offleash’d CEO & Co-Founder Terry James, and Dog & Whistle, CEO & Founder Eric Adams, decided to come together to build Nibble and Wag, they shared the same vision: to make pet parenthood more accessible by removing one of the biggest barriers: affordable, nutritious food. Their bond was forged over a shared passion for pets, community and sustainability. Both had seen firsthand how rising costs in pet food made it harder for families to welcome dogs into their homes or to consistently provide them with quality nutrition. Together, they set out to change that and the pet food industry.
Joined by Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Brown bringing operational expertise, and a trusted vet guided recipe development, Nibble and Wag combines innovation, care, and responsibility to develop meals that are affordable, wholesome, transparent, and sustainable.

As Founder and CEO of Nibble and Wag, Terry brings a passion for building communities, improving access to the pet community and creating meaningful connections between pets and their people to lead Nibble and Wag. With extensive background in Executive Leadership, Technology and Brand Development, he’s focused on making Nibble and Wag a trusted and affordable pet food brand for pet parents. Terry also serves as Co-Founder and CEO of Offleash’d, Inc.
